The compressor I have is a Campbell-Hausfeld, and I’m pretty sure I bought it from NorthernIndustries a long time ago. I think it was around $600 at the time. They might have similar models now, possibly with higher CFM ratings and a 5.5 HP Honda engine or something similar.
Mine is a 5 HP Briggs engine with an 8-gallon tank. It originally tripped out at 125 PSI, but it has a safety pop-off at 150 PSI, which I’ve set just below that. The specs are a bit quirky, listing 8.4 SCFM at 90 PSI. Not sure how helpful that is.
This setup provides portability and flexibility, which was crucial for me.
