When you order shocks from Prevost, you’ll need to provide your VIN number to ensure you get the correct shocks. They will also ask whether you prefer one-piece or two-piece rubber bushings. If you have a large vice or press, you can save $2.40 per shock by opting for the one-piece bushings; otherwise, the two-piece option is easier to install.
For time and labor, the two-piece bushings might be more practical, but it’s up to you to decide. Pressing in the new bushings takes about a minute per shock.
