I’m currently in the process of taking off the tires and replacing the suspension while also locating air leaks. It seems my bus has a rear suspension system integrated with hydraulics in a set of struts, which support the weight when the tag axle is raised.

The bushings in this system look blown out and seem to be in poor condition. Is it possible for me to just remove this system altogether?
