Fired up the bus the other day and the ABS light came on and didn’t go out.  Opened the steering compartment and toggled the ABS switch.  It flashed a “43”.  Called Prevost Action Service (PASS) and was shortly connected to a very helpful tech.  He told me that a “43” code indicated the right rear sensor was not sending a signal.  He also gave me a resistance reading across the terminals for a normal sensor and the drawing number for the ABS schematic that applies to our bus.  He told me the sensor would be located on the inner hub.  All well and good.   Referring to the maintenance manual there is a photo of the sensor and  the text states it’s located on the inner hub.  Dang if I could figure out the photo and double dang, if I can  find the darn thing.   Since the location of the sensor was not apparant I tried to find the wires going to it with no success.  Is the sensor visable?  Is it inside the drive axle hub?  The only wires I can find in the area are electrical connections on the outter ends of the differential but they don’t fit the maintenance manual description.  Thanks in advance for the help.

Prevost uses Wabco or Bendix ABS. I think yours is Wabco. I think your rear sensors are on the differential and not on the brake end itself. Look for the wires on the differential just outboard of the pumpkin.
