My mechanical boost gauge has stopped working. The scan gauge still shows that the boost is fine. I checked the gauge, and it works correctly. I took the fitting off at the motor, and there is no blockage, so the issue must be in the line. I have no idea how to go about replacing the line or finding the problem. Any suggestions?

Replace the 1/8″ plastic line. From the engine to the rear bulkhead is an easy shot. Then, at the rear bulkhead, you should have a large plastic conduit that goes all the way to the front bulkhead. You can come out of there with the front bumper folded down at the far front. Drill a hole or find wiring going through; it will come up by the gas pedal and into the dash. I installed a Total Vision rear camera setup and ran all the wires from the dash to the rear camera pretty easily. I think there are three conduits; I don’t have over-the-road, so one of the conduits was empty. I ran a fish tape through the rear, and it came out all the way in the front.

Thanks Art. I think I’m following you for most of it. I’m not sure I understand how you were able to run it from the back to front.  How did you run it along / in the conduit.

Where the two 6-port Norgren valves for rear leveling are mounted on the rear bulkhead, which is at the back of the bus in front of the drive wheels, if you raise the bus fully with airbags and support it, crawl up under and look forward, you will see both 6-port Norgren valves. Keep going up, and Prevost installed, I think, three 4-inch PVC pipes that travel the full length, not counting the suspension. Sorry, I don’t have any pictures.

That’s what I needed to know. Thanks for the info!
