In my previous coach, an American Eagle with a Cummins engine, there was an electric fuel pump that acted as a “lift pump” to ensure the main diesel fuel pump had pressure during startup. This electric pump would run for about five minutes after the engine was started.

Does the Prevost Series 60 have a similar “lift pump”? Also, does our engine have an electric fuel cutoff valve, and where is it located?

I’m not experiencing any issues with these components, but I’m eager to learn more about the fuel system.

      Thanks,
      Hector
