      Several months ago, I remember (not well enough) reading a post of a member that would hear air escaping, as if in a discharge, coming from the rear of the coach after the coach was parked for a few days.

      As I recall, it was determined that a pressure switch exist that monitors the Aux air, and once the pressure would leak down, this pressure switch would release the air from the tag axle air bags.

      My question is, what is the purpose of this switch and at what pressure does it release?

      Any help is appreciated.

      I believe the reasons for my symptoms of the tag releasing air is a leak in the aux air system. As stated in the below link, once the aux air gets below a certain value, the tag axle air bag is released due to low aux air pressure. Not by a switch, but because the aux air pressure has reduced to a point that the tag axle norgren ‘deselects’.
