I cleaned my engine bay yesterday and when I came back inside the coach I noticed a faint alarm emanating from the passenger side dash area.  After removing the front panel, I found a small alarm speaker just forward of the entry door and next to what I believe is the relay for the intermitten wipers.  The alarm has been beeping about once per second every since yesterday.  I tried using the disconnects for 24V and 12V chassis batteries and the house batteries and the alarm continues to sound so it must be powered by its own battery somewhere.

Does anyone know what this is and what I need to do to silence it short of disconnecting the wires?

      Thanks for your help.

I seem to remember, just barley, that a long time ago, someone said that after washing the engine compartment that the fire sensors got wet and set off the fire alarm.  It stopped after the sensors dried out.  Just a guess on my part, has been a long time sense I read that old post.

Thanks Andre.  Hopefully, that is all it is and it will take care of itself.

I haven’t found anything obvious that would be causing it and everything seems to be functioning properly.

      Darian…

My coach has an alarm like you describe that triggers when the electricity goes off….either from unplugging, or breaker trip, etc.   ty

      Darian…

It’s simply a buton on the right side of the dash panel….about even with the dash air panel.   When I unplug, I have to depress the button to stop the alarm…

Sure would be nice if the problem works out to be this simple….ty
